OgilvyAction Launches an Integrated Campaign for Kodak
With a 360 campaign, Kodak and OgilvyAction makes the pigment dance for consumers
What is the best way to present a relevant, but rational-technical unique selling proposition in an emotional way? OgilvyAction Germany was able to answer this question with a 360 ° campaign for KODAK National Printers.
In close coordination with the German and international Kodak team, OgilvyAction collaborated with OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy to develop a fully integrated campaign including print ads, TV, and online that promotes KODAK Printers and Kodak’s specially developed nano-pigment ink that allows printing to produce brilliant quality at a surprisingly low cost.
The campaign specifically focuses on Kodak’s ink technology with „living nano-pigments“ and impressively shows how these millions of pigments work hard to create a photo‘s brilliant expression.
"The special nano-pigments express a particularly high color brilliance, because the smaller the particles used are, the greater the light absorption, that is, the more intense the color strength," said Nicole Walz, Marketing Manager, Inkjet Systems Kodak Germany.
The complex production of the TV commercial was created and directed by Michael Baumbruch with the Prague film production company Savage. "We have awakened the KODAK pigments to life and therefore translated a rational benefit in an emotional message," said Martin Seele, Executive Creative Director OgilvyAction.
Specifically developed for the German market, consumers will start to „meet“ the "living nano-pigments" in all channels – print, online, in-store, and on TV – when the campaign launches on March 14, 2011.
